Visa Formalities
ON ARRIVAL VISA APPLICATION
REQUIREMENTS
1. Two Visa Application forms.
2. Recommendation Letter from Ministries Concerned in Myanmar.
3. Two photographs (35 mm X 45 mm) (recent photos).
4. Valid passport with some blank pages for visa.
5. One Disembarkation Card.
The
following persons are entitled to apply for On-Arrival Visas:-
Those who live in far-away areas from any Myanmar Embassy/Consulate-General
so that it is inconvenient for them to apply for a relevant visa
at the respective Myanmar Embassy/Consulate-General.
Citizens of any country where there is no Myanmar Embassy/Consulate-General
stationed in.
Those holding any kind of Myanmar Visa with expired validity date
but the application date for On-Arrival Visa must not exceed 7
days of the date of validity of the original visa.

Tourism

For visitors from a package tour group, organized
by any registered Myanmar tour agency, the Tourist On-Arrival
Visa (Package) will be issued to each of them if they are
recommended by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism of Myanmar.

Duration of Stay: 4 weeks |
For a foreign independent traveller (FIT),
an On-Arrival Visa (FIT) will be issued to him/her with the
permission of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism of Myanmar.

Duration of Stay: 4 weeks |
Business |
To obtain Business On-Arrival Visa, an applicant
has to present the Recommendation Letter of a Myanmar Ministry
with which he/she is doing business.

Type: Business On-Arrival Visa Fees: US$ 36,
Duration of Stay: 10 weeks |
Attending meetings
|
Those who want to enter Myanmar to take part
in meetings organized by any Governmental organization or
any UN agency, can obtain On-Arrival Visa if the host organization
has officially requested to issue such kind of visas to them.

Upon the request of the organization concerned,
On-Arrival Visas can be issued to the participants of the
meeting free-of-charge. |
Others |
If a visitor's Myanmar Visa (any type of visa)
is expired, his/ her application date for On-Arrival Visa
must be within 7 days of the validity date of his/her original
visa. |
Fees and duration of stay depend on the visitor's
original visa |
